Module 1 Class Title Course Description
Mod1 Workshop #1: Forming Nurturing and Responsive Relationship
Participants will explore the critical nature of early relationships and will discover strategies for forming responsive and nurturing relationships with infants, young children and families.
Mod1 Workshop #2: Sustaining Nurturing and Responsive Relationships
Participants will learn how to sustain relationships and identify strategies for maintaining relationships during times of rupture or distress.
Mod1 Workshop #3: Sustaining Relationships -Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices and Reducing Implicit Bias
Participants will reflect on the influence of implicit bias, judgment, and stress on sustaining positive relationships. We will also review strategies towards reducing personal and systemic implicit bias.
Mod1 Workshop #4: Supporting Relationships through High Quality Environments
Participants will discover how intentional and purposeful planning can help to create a high quality environment for infants, toddlers and young children. Learn how to craft an environment where EVERY child feels good about coming to school.
Please plan to attend all 4 workshops before registering for any Mod 2 workshops. Although encouraged, you do not need to register for all 4 in the same series.
These workshops will be facilitated ONLINE via Zoom.
Please be prepared to actively participate in at least one or more ways:
