Are you new to the Early Childhood profession?
Two ways to get your Health and Safety, Child Development training requirements funded by the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development:
You can either go on NJCCIS, go into the Registry section and select "Health and Safety Basics" in either English or Spanish, take the web training within two weeks of registering, and take the "Mandated Reporter/Child Abuse and Neglect Training" (2 hours) to complete these requirements.
OR
You can go into NJCCIS and register to take the three-day, Zoom training sessions with our lead/assistant trainers, Beverly and Cristine, on the designated days and times below; you will still need to return to the Registry and take the "Mandated Reporter/Child Abuse and Neglect Training" (2 hours) in either English or Spanish. Connect with either Bev or Cristine should you have any questions.
You must attend all three sessions to get full credit in NJCCIS.
Please make sure you have uploaded Zoom onto your phone, computer, or tablet before the training and make certain your camera is operational.
