On behalf of the NJ Department of Human Services and Grow NJ Kids, we would like to announce the August live virtual trainings. Participants must have a laptop, tablet, or cell phone with internet connectivity to log into Zoom. Supplemental materials will be emailed prior to the course start date.
Introduction to Expanded Daily Resources for The Creative Curriculum® for Twos: Live Virtual

Three-hour training session facilitated over one-day.
In this live virtual training session, participants will use the Expanded Daily Resources for Twos and explains how these tools can inspire children’s natural curiosity through in-depth studies of topics that are relevant, fascinating, and appropriate for two-year-old children. We strongly recommend that participants complete Parts 1-4 of the Infants, Toddlers & Twos series prior to enrolling in this session.
The Power of STEAM: Leading Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics Learning With The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool: Live Virtual

Six-hour training session facilitated over two-days.
This virtual training is facilitated over a video conferencing program. In this 2-day live virtual training session participants will discover how STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics) serves as an integrative approach to teaching that allows children to explore, question, research, create, and discover. Participants will examine the many facets of STEAM and explore its connection to the objectives for development and learning. Educators will learn how to integrate science and technology throughout the day and will discover how in-depth, project-based investigations support STEAM learning in the preschool classroom.
